MHS60 Joint 80th Birthday

Hello Everyone

May 27- 28, 2022, we had a fantastic time together sharing this important milestone just as we have celebrated so many other "firsts" together. First day of school, first day at MHS, first love, first time to "meet" him/her at The Paramount, first time driving, reaching age 16, first traffic ticket, the first (or the last?) time dancing to "Blue Moon". Together we shared these and so many other memories made in Marshall, and we were wonderfully surprised by the changes in our hometown.

The good times began at 11:30 Friday, May 27 at the former Hotel Marshall - we could scarcely believe the transformation of the Hotel, including the beautifully restored "Roof Garden". We had dinner Friday night at the Michelson Museum. Saturday, May 28, began with a visit to the very impressive Service and Sacrifice Museum and the wonderfully restored old City Hall which holds so many memories for us. The day was filled with visits to places where we made memories and ended with dinner and an evening full of classic music from the 50's and 60's. What a memorable time together!
