Saturday, October 2

Visit Old Haunts, Relive Memories & Renew Friendships

This will be a day to visit old haunts, relive memories and renew friendships.  Take time to visit Caddo Lake, enjoy a Brown Pig, look at the buildings that once housed Fry Hodge and Matthewson's.  Drive by MHS, see the beautifully restored old courthouse in the center of the square, and see the progress being made to restore the Hotel Marshall (now the Marshall Grand).

Military Ceremony

This day we will also meet for a very impressive ceremony on the square, to express appreciation for those who served in the military.  Gerald "Soff" Watson and Sandra Thompson have gone to great effort to make this ceremony special, and as a result, there is an excellent brochure for this event, and both the Texas Liberty Bell and Patriot Guard Riders will participate in the event.  It just doesn't get any better.  Click on the videos below to see and hear about each of these very special participants in our ceremony.  (Be sure to turn off Player, first.)

Memorial Ceremony

In a separate event, we will have a chance to remember our classmates who have not lived to enjoy this milestone reunion.

Dinner Dance

In the evening, this event will be hosted at Marshall Civic Center.  In addition to a delicious meal, there will be dancing and singing to the music of our high school years, and a live program featuring "our" music.  Best of all, will be the chance to share time with friends whom we spent our formative years, and made all those memories.

It is no exaggeration to say this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  You may register on line (indicate you plan to attend on your webpage), or wait for your invitation, but do plan to come!  You'll never experience anything like it anywhere else, and your friends are eager to share this good time with you.

Check back here for more details as plans for each event are finalized.
